What each plan includes
Creator covers the basics and Business adds the controls that shape delivery. The comparison table on the pricing page lists these differences.
- Creator: Murf's full voice library across its listed languages and accents, unlimited downloads, Canva integration, commercial rights.
- Business: everything in Creator, plus emphasis, variability, "Say It My Way", a PowerPoint plug-in, Google Slides, Murf voices for Windows apps, audio to text (48 hours of transcription) and a business license.
- Enterprise: sharing and collaboration, AI translation, single sign-on, a master service agreement and custom voice clones as an add-on.
Both self-serve plans list 1 editor seat. If several people need to work in one account, that points to Enterprise.
Voice generation hours
Voice generation time is the audio you can create, and Murf sells it by the year. Creator's 24 hours is 1,440 minutes; Business's 96 hours is 5,760 minutes. Spread evenly, that is about 120 and 480 minutes a month.
Show me: how we got the cost per minute
Cost per minute is the yearly price divided by the minutes in the allowance:
- Creator: $228 ÷ 1,440 minutes = $0.158 a minute.
- Business: $792 ÷ 5,760 minutes = $0.138 a minute.
This assumes you use every minute. If you use half, the cost per minute doubles.
Murf's help center lists articles named "Validity", "Additional VGT" and "VGT Carry Forward Terms". We saw the titles but did not read the text, so check them for expiry rules.
Real cost of one script
The same 10-minute narration costs less on a credit plan with a lower price per minute. The table uses each vendor's own units, read on October 29, 2026.
| Plan | Unit the vendor uses | 10-minute script uses | Cost at full use |
|---|---|---|---|
| Murf Creator (yearly) | 24 hours a year | 10 minutes | $1.58 |
| Murf Business (yearly) | 96 hours a year | 10 minutes | $1.38 |
| Kveeky Basic (yearly) | 750 credits per minute | 7,500 credits | $0.75 |
| Kveeky Business (yearly) | 750 credits per minute | 7,500 credits | $0.82 |
Kveeky's price list is on its pricing page: 1 credit is 1 character, and paid plans give about 750 credits per minute. To size your own script, use the words to minutes calculator or the character counter. Kveeky also offers voice cloning on its paid plans.
Murf API pricing
Murf also sells a developer API billed by the character, and it is much cheaper per minute than Studio. The pricing page lists a free trial with "$10 FREE for API calls" and pay as you go rates of $0.01 per 1,000 characters for Falcon 2.1 and $0.03 per 1,000 characters for Gen2. Purchased credit never expires.
If your 10-minute script is 7,500 characters (our estimate at 750 a minute), Gen2 costs about $0.225. The catch is that an API is built for developers: you write code and get no studio editor.
Cheaper options
Murf is not the cheapest per minute, and it gives you only a trial to test. Three real options, with prices read on October 29, 2026:
| Tool | Entry price | Included audio | Free plan |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kveeky Basic | $7.50/month yearly ($9 monthly) | 100 minutes | 500 credits (about 40 seconds), sign-up required |
| ElevenLabs Starter | $6/month ($5 yearly equivalent) | about 30 minutes | 10k credits, about 10 minutes, non-commercial |
| Murf Creator | $19/month billed yearly | 24 hours a year | 10-minute trial, no downloads |

Is Murf worth it?
Murf is worth it if you want its studio controls and PowerPoint or Google Slides add-ins. It is not the cheapest way to get a minute of speech. Be honest about your volume first.
Tick what applies to you.
If most boxes are about price, try a cheaper plan. If most are about editor controls, Murf fits.
